The haveli

Built in 1891 as a summer house for a Jaipur thikana family, Saanjh Haveli was restored stone by stone in 2014. We host about sixty weddings a year, never two on the same day, so the whole estate is yours from the first haldi to the last vidaai.

Most families use all four across a three-day wedding. Pick one to see capacities and what it suits best.

Durbar Hall

The gilded hall at the centre of the haveli. Three Bohemian chandeliers, a 28 ft ceiling and a sprung teak floor that has outlasted a century of sangeets.

How a wedding moves through the haveli

Day 1 · afternoon

Mehendi

Zenana courtyard, under the neem tree. Floor seating, dhol, chaat counters along the arches.

Day 2 · morning

Haldi

Courtyard again, or the pool deck for smaller families. Marigold and rajnigandha strings come from our own florist.

Day 2 · night

Sangeet

Durbar Hall, where music can run until 1 am. Stage, LED wall and green rooms are built in.

Day 3 · godhuli

Pheras

A mandap on Sheesh Bagh, timed to the muhurat. Our pandit list covers Hindu, Jain and Sikh ceremonies.

Day 3 · after dark

Reception

The lawn, lit. Up to 1,500 guests with dinner served from the Rang Mahal kitchens.

Food is charged per plate: ₹2,850 veg and ₹3,400 non-veg, with live Rajasthani counters included. Jain and satvik menus come at no extra cost.

Asked by almost every family

How far ahead should we book?

For November to February, eight to twelve months. Popular muhurat dates go first, so share two or three options when you enquire.

Can we bring our own decorator?

Yes. Outside decorators work under our venue rules (no nails in the stone, no open flame indoors). Our in-house team can also quote alongside them.

Is there a horse or vintage car for the baraat?

The baraat route is a 400 m drive from the gate to the lawn. We arrange a ghodi, a dhol troupe and a 1958 Ambassador through local partners.

Where do guests stay if they don't fit in the haveli?

We hold blocks at two hotels within 6 km and run shuttles every 30 minutes on function days.

What is the payment schedule?

25% to block the date, 50% sixty days before and the balance a week before the first function. Cancellations more than 120 days out get the deposit back minus 10%.
